We spent the last two days at The Art of Business Seminar, in the Philadelphia Airport Marriott Hotel, and it couldn’t have been a better experience.
The attendees were smart and savvy. The speakers were industry luminaries whose insights hit the mark for both new salon owners and the most seasoned veterans. And it was evident that the event organizers were passionate about providing the best experience for everyone involved.
Our own Ellen Thompson presented to the audience of 400+ about salon digital marketing and spoke about two critical elements of online marketing for salons:
- Your salon’s online presence is just as important as your storefront. If your website is outdated, confusing or mobile unfriendly, prospects can and will take their business elsewhere.
- If you’re not being found in Google for salon-related searches, you’re not even getting a chance to compete.The good news is it’s not hard to get your fair share of new business from online sources.
After the presentation, our team spoke with salon owners and managers from the Philadelphia area (and beyond) who were curious about how Salon Search Party could help them grow their business. A number of people asked us about designing a new salon website and others wanted to learn more about increasing the traffic to their website. We were happy to answer their questions and we’re looking forward to growing the relationships with many of the people we met.
